Part Lisa Ling, part Reese Witherspoon, and part Mary Poppins, Dr. Hayden Finch is a licensed clinical psychologist, behavior change expert, and dessert enthusiast originally hailing from coastal North Carolina.  Dr. Finch is the CEO and founder of Master Your Mental Health, an educational platform that helps people learn actionable, research-proven skills to turn self-doubt into self-confidence.  Duke and Nebraska educated, she is a go-getter with a passion for translating research into usable strategies, empowering others to be true to themselves, and dedicating herself to learning and personal growth.  Her mission is to equip people with the skills to master anxiety, discover self-acceptance, and find meaning in a busy life.

Dr. Finch has worked with Today Online, POPSUGAR, Clouds & Dirt, Broglie Box, Hello Giggles, PsychCentral, and others.  Most recently, she wrote a book using psychological science to teach people evidence-based strategies to overcome procrastination.  She also founded the Arkansas Center for High Functioning Anxiety, a clinic offering research-based therapy to help anxious and overwhelmed high-achievers discover self-acceptance, confidence, and fulfillment.  Prior to launching her own businesses, she had adventures working with incarcerated juveniles, Veterans struggling with mental illness, individuals who had been found not responsible for crimes by reason of insanity, and families involved with child protection services.

Outside of the therapy room, Dr. Finch is a waterslide enthusiast, a musical theater aficionado, and an ice cream connoisseur.

  8. Best inventions ever: Athleisure, heated steering wheels (they’ll change your life), DVR, hamburger choppers, microwaves, Google Maps, polka dots, dogs as pets

  9. My favorite things to do on a Sunday: Take my dogs for a walk, work on my “side hustle” projects (I’ve always got something going on!), connect with my family, and prep for the week

  10. I would go into mourning if: Grocery pickup went out of style

  11. I’m never not in the mood for: Ice cream (for real…why do ice cream stores not open until the afternoon?)
